We're Just Like Plants.. 🌱 How?
Just like plants, our skin has the ability to absorb light 💡 and convert it into energy! LED lights deliver light energy in a similar way that plants absorb light energy from the sun ☀️ LED light is UV-free, and offers tons of benefits to the skin (like reducing fine lines and wrinkles, increasing blood circulation, and treating moderate acne).
LED stands for "Light Emitting Diode," which is a tiny computer chip encased in glass. And each LED color (or wavelength) provides unique benefits for the skin. The most popular colors for skin health are 🔴 and 🔵!
This is because red LED lights help stimulate collagen and elastin in the skin, which reduces fine lines and wrinkles, and keeps the skin firm. Blue lights, on the other hand, destroy P. acnes bacteria and help reduce breakouts and congestion, revealing clear skin 🥰.
I personally love using both red and blue LED light therapy at the same time! My Hydrafacial machine at @ridenourplasticsurgery has 2 red lights and 2 blue lights, and they get used during almost every treatment I offer! 🙌🏼
However, since we are all staying home right now, I will be using my LightStim to keep my skin healthy and youthful.
LightStim is an FDA-approved light therapy device that works to fight wrinkles, acne, and even pain! I bought my own LightStim about 3 years ago when I was getting hormonal acne, and it helped so much with clearing it up! 🙏🏼 The device is $169 I believe, and it is designed to last a lifetime!
I get absolutely no kickback for posting about this, I just truly love my LightStim ❤️ and know that some of you are looking for things you can use at home to keep your skin clear during this time. I 10/10 recommend @lightstim.
If you have questions, just let me know! 😘
